New TutorOver 7years of online teaching experience“Start Your Journey to Math Mastery Today”
Hi! I’m a passionate and experienced Math tutor with a strong teaching background across various curricula including CBSE, ISC, and the U.S. Common Core/AP system. I’ve been teaching mathematics since 2016, starting with SSC exam preparation, and gradually expanding my expertise to cover a wide range of topics from Pre-Algebra to Calculus AB/BC.
Over the years, I’ve taught students from Grades 7 to 12, both in classroom settings and through online platforms like Growing Stars and private tutoring. My subject expertise includes:
Algebra 1 & 2
Geometry
Trigonometry
Set Theory
Pre-Calculus & AP Calculus
CBSE/ISC Board Math (Grades 7–12)
I especially enjoy helping students tackle the challenging parts of math—problems that go beyond the routine and stretch their thinking. One of my strengths is breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas, so students not only understand but actually enjoy learning.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga, cycling, and solving difficult math problems that many students find tough—because that’s how I keep learning, too!
Looking forward to helping you unlock your potential and discover the fun side of mathematics!
I’ve been teaching Mathematics since 2016. I started my journey by preparing students for SSC (Staff Selection Commission) exams, which mainly involved high school-level math, focusing on speed, accuracy, and strong fundamentals.
In 2018, I joined Growing Stars as an online tutor, where I started teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 to students from the U.S. curriculum. As I grew with the platform, I was upgraded to teach Geometry the following year, and by 2020, I began handling Algebra 2 as well. That same year, I added Trigonometry to my subjects, and I also started working with ISC board students for Grades 11 and 12, which opened up more depth in advanced math topics.
In 2021, I moved into freelance tutoring, taking up students from various backgrounds and boards—CBSE, ISC, and international curricula. In 2023, I started teaching Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC for U.S. high school students.
I’ve also worked in a CBSE school, teaching Grades 7, 8, 9, and 10. This school experience helped me understand classroom dynamics, student behavior in a traditional setting, and how to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles in a group environment.
Educational Background & Certifications
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics, completed in 2016
CTET Certified – Categories I & II
KTET Certified – Categories II & III
These certifications have not only strengthened my foundation in teaching but have also helped me become more aligned with national standards in education.
Subject Expertise
I have experience teaching the following topics and grades:
Grades 7–10: Arithmetic, Basic Algebra, Linear Equations, Geometry, Statistics, Mensuration, Quadratic Equations, Polynomials, Coordinate Geometry
Grades 11–12 (CBSE/ISC & U.S. Curriculum):
Algebra 2
Trigonometry
Set Theory
Functions & Graphs
Pre-Calculus
Calculus AB & BC (Limits, Derivatives, Integrals, Applications)
Teaching Methods & Student Engagement
I believe in conceptual clarity first. I always encourage my students to imagine the problem, especially in Geometry. I try to make them visualize graphs, shapes, and transformations, so the idea becomes real in their mind. This not only helps them understand better but also helps them remember the concept for the long term.
Rather than giving away answers, I guide students to understand the question deeply and try solving it themselves. I often ask them “Why do you think it works this way?”—which gets them thinking beyond the textbook. My focus is to help them become independent learners who can handle complex problems with confidence.
Whenever possible, I connect topics from different grades to show how everything in math is interlinked. For instance, I show how the idea of slope in Grade 8 or 9 plays a huge role in understanding differentiation in Calculus. These kinds of connections help students see the bigger picture and fall in love with the subject.
Assessments & Progress Tracking
I conduct informal assessments during every session, without announcing them as tests. This way, students are relaxed and show their natural understanding. I also conduct weekly tests and topic-wise evaluations, especially after completing a concept. I regularly update parents with progress reports and feedback, so we’re all on the same page.
I strongly believe that when a student befriends the subject, they are more likely to spend time with it, explore it, and eventually excel in it. That’s why I try to make the subject approachable and inspiring, while also helping students understand the aesthetic value of mathematics.
Beyond the Classroom
Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing yoga, cycling, and solving non-routine math problems—activities that keep me refreshed and constantly learning.
Why You Should Book Your First Lesson
If you've ever felt that math is confusing, stressful, or just not your thing—I'm here to help you see it differently. With my personalized, concept-focused approach, you’ll not only understand what you're learning, but also develop the confidence to solve problems on your own.
Every student is unique, and that’s exactly how I teach. I tailor each lesson to match your pace, learning style, and goals. Whether it's mastering Algebra, building a strong foundation in Geometry, or preparing for AP Calculus, I’ll guide you step-by-step—not just to learn, but to truly understand.
In our sessions, I won’t just give you the answers. I’ll ask you the right questions, encourage you to think deeper, and help you find the solution your way. This method builds independence and turns math into something you can rely on—not something to fear.
With regular progress tracking, open communication with parents, and a friendly teaching style that puts you at ease, you’ll start seeing results—and feeling good about them—sooner than you expect.
If you’re ready to make math your strength, not your struggle, book your first lesson today. Let’s build your skills, grow your confidence, and enjoy the journey together.
One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student’s needs. Even if I’m teaching the same concept back-to-back, the way I approach it changes completely based on the learner. While the outcome might be the same, the path we take is uniquely tailored—and that’s what makes learning meaningful.
My deep subject knowledge, especially in core and advanced areas of mathematics, allows me to explain even the most complex concepts in a way that’s clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I also have strong communication skills, which help me break down ideas in ways that make sense to different types of learners—whether they need more visual understanding, logical breakdowns, or step-by-step guidance.
What truly defines my approach is my genuine dedication to student success. I work to understand not just what a student needs, but how they need it delivered. Sometimes, the student doesn’t even realize how much they can achieve until they’re guided the right way—and that’s where my strength lies. I take pride in bringing out the best in every student, often without them realizing how far they've come until they start seeing the results themselves.
Above all, I’m deeply passionate about teaching. I find joy in helping students not just improve their grades, but build confidence, curiosity, and independence in learning. That’s what makes me not just a tutor, but a mentor in their academic journey.
